After reading loads of blogs from other people who have done the LEJOG, and after my own experience from previous long trips, I am taking the following with me.

Clothing.
  • Cycle Helmet (Specialized S-Works)
  • 2 x Short Sleeved Jerseys (Fox and Altura Short Sleeved)
  • Long Sleeved 'Altura' Thermal Cycle Jersey.
  • 2 x Cycling Shorts (Altura and Dhb)
  • Pair of full length cycle tights
  • Waterproof / Windproof Jacket
  • Short Finger Cycling Gloves
  • Cycle 'Tour' Shoes
  • 2 x Pair Cycling Socks
  • Flip Flops (To wear on evening as they're lighter than shoes or trainers)
  • Long Sleeve T-Shirt (Also for an evening)
  • Tracky Bottoms (Also for on an evening)
  • Boxer Shorts (Also for on an evening)
  • Sunglasses
Toiletries.
  • Toothpaste (Small tube)
  • Toothbrush
  • Suncream (Piz Buin 1 Day Long, small tube)
  • Bug Spray / Wipes (For the dreaded Scottish midges)
  • Deodorant (Small tin)
  • Lip Balm
  • Chamois Creme (Assos - Highly recommended for preventing saddle sores)
  • Tissues (In case I get caught short!)
  • Ibuprofen
  • Small First Aid Kit (Plasters, Antiseptic wipes, small bandage)
